Day 8 — Peter DeLucia’s Safe Holiday Decorating Around Pets

Pets can be at risk from holiday décor. Many homes display poinsettias, holly, and mistletoe
during Christmas. While beautiful, some plants can be mildly toxic if ingested. Peter DeLucia
advises keeping these plants along with electrical cords, glass ornaments, tinsel, ribbons, and
scented candles, out of reach to protect your furry family members.
